Permanent Hair Removal FAQs
-
Laser hair removal is a long-term hair reduction method that uses laser light to target and destroy hair follicles, preventing future hair growth. It’s a safe, effective, and popular treatment for reducing unwanted hair on various body areas, including the face, legs, arms, underarms, bikini line, and back.
-
Laser Emits Light → A concentrated beam of light is directed at the hair.
Melanin Absorbs Light → The pigment (melanin) in the hair absorbs the laser energy.
Heat Destroys Follicle → The laser heats up and damages the hair follicle, preventing future hair growth.
Hair Falls Out → Over the next 1-2 weeks, treated hair falls out naturally.
Important: Laser hair removal works best on dark hair because it absorbs more light. Lighter hair (blonde, gray, red) may not respond as well to treatment.
-
Typically 6-8 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.
Hair grows in cycles (growth, rest, shedding), and the laser is most effective in the growth phase.
Maintenance sessions may be needed once or twice a year after the initial treatments.
-
Not 100% permanent, but drastically reduces hair growth.
Some hair may grow back over time, but it’s usually finer and lighter.

It doesn't hurt
